              If your phone is lost or stolen, for your safety, you should contact ADCB-Egypt Call Center as soon as possible by calling 16862 to deactivate your token.

Deposit function and soonest will be on all branches

Currently, according to the Central Bank’s instructions, there are no fees for using ATMs until June 2021.

  • For ADCB customer no required fees when using ATMs
  • Fees is not fixed among all banks so please refer to your bank

Make sure that no deduction on your account / Cards please refer to your bank 

n case I lost my card, it’s necessary to call the issuer bank quickly to stop the card and issue a replacement, noting that any delay may lead to the use of the card by an unknown person.

  • Keep the password away from the card.
  • Choosing a difficult password.
  • My mobile number must be registered with the issuer bank and notify them of the necessity to send a message when any attempt to use it. 

Make sure that there is no any strange device around the ATM and card reader.

In this case, it is necessary to contact the issuer bank of immediately to stop it if it lost and inquiring about the withdrawn amounts. In the event of any amounts of questionable validity, an objection to these amounts must be registered to verify its source and guarantee your right.

ADCB-Egypt Double Secure is an online authentication tool to give you an added security feature and peace of mind every time you purchase online at any participating Verified by Visa merchant’s website using your ADCB-Egypt Card. This feature ensures that only you can complete an online transaction using your ADCB-Egypt Card by requiring you to enter a one-time Authentication Code sent to your registered mobile number, every time you make an online transaction on participating websites. Participating websites can be identified by the Verified by Visa logos that will be displayed on the payment page. This helps in minimizing risk of fraudulent online transactions on your Card. 

This additional security feature is offered at no cost to you.

ADCB-Egypt Double Secure provides you with a one-time Authentication Code to protect your online transactions.


o   Select the goods or services you want
from a Verified by Visa certified online store and proceed to the payment page.


o Enter your ADCB-Egypt Debit/ Credit Card number, expiry date, and CVV/CVC in the payment
page.


o   ADCB-Egypt will then initiate an ADCB-Egypt Double Secure pop-up window on your computer screen.


o Enter your Double Secure
Authentication Code sent as an SMS to the registered mobile number with ADCB-Egypt
to confirm your identity to the merchant.  


Your payment is authorized and your order is placed. It’s that simple! 

ADCB-Egypt offers comprehensive fraud protection,but ADCB-Egypt Double Secure goes a step further, adding an extra layer of security. The service helps prevent unauthorized online use before it happens by confirming your identity with an additional Authentication Code. When you correctly enter your Authentication Code during a purchase at a participating online merchant, you confirm that you are the authorized cardholder and your purchase is then completed. If an incorrect Code is entered, the purchase will not be completed. Even if someone knows your credit or debit card number, the purchase cannot be completed without your Authentication Code at a participating merchant.

Every time you use your ADCB-Egypt Card for online transactions at a participating Verified by Visa merchant, you will automatically be prompted to enter your ADCB-Egypt Double Secure Authentication Code. Just follow the below simple steps:

o   Enter your card number, expiry date
and CVV/CVC (the 3-digit number on the reverse of your Card) in the payment
page.

o   An ADCB-Egypt Double Secure Pop –up window will appear on your computer screen
and you will be required to enter the 6 digits Authentication Code sent as an
SMS on your registered mobile number with ADCB-Egypt. 


You are now ready to complete your online purchase with your card while enjoying added protection. 

ADCB-Egypt Double Secure works with just about any computer that’s connected to the Internet. There is no special software to install. Once you activate your card, you’ll continue to shop as usual, and your ADCB-Egypt card number will be automatically recognized at checkout. Just enter your ADCB-Egypt Double Secure Authentication Code and complete the regular checkout process. Please be advised software which prevents pop-up windows may interfere with your use of ADCB-Egypt Double Secure. 

When buying from merchants who are not yet participating in Verified by Visa, you will not be prompted for your ADCB-Egypt Double Secure Authentication Code. You can continue your purchase, however transacting without the additional security offered by ADCB-Egypt Double Secure is based on your judgement of whether that is a trusted site or not. However, in case of Fraud Liability will be shifted & amount will be covered from the merchant.

Your existing Double Secure password is no longer valid. You will receive a new Double Secure Authentication Code which will replace your current password. A new Double Secure Authentication Code will be sent to you every time you purchase online at any participating Verified by Visa merchant’s website. This Authentication Code will be sent to you by SMS on your registered mobile number 

A new Double Secure Authentication Code will be sent to you on your registered mobile number every time you purchase online from any participating Verified by Visa merchant’s’ website. This further enhances security for online transactions, as only you will have access to the Authentication Code required to complete the transaction. 

No, you will only receive a Double Secure authentication code only for online purchase(s) / payments at any participating Verified by Visa / MasterCard Secure Code merchants. 

You will be able to see the logos of Verified by Visa as follows when you are performing the online transaction on a participating merchant website. 

No, the Double Secure Authentication Code will only be sent to the mobile number as registered with ADCB-Egypt. Please ensure you have access to your mobile when you make an online purchase and that your mobile number address registered with ADCB-Egypt is updated at all times. 

Yes, your supplementary cardholder will receive a Double Secure Authentication Code on his/her mobile phone only if his/her mobile number is registered with ADCB-Egypt. 

Yes, you will receive a Double Secure Authentication Code via SMS at our cost for all local charges but not the
roaming charges. 

If you do not receive your Double Secure Authentication Code, you may click on “Resend Authentication Code” button on the authentication screen to request for another Double Secure Authentication Code. The Authentication Code will be sent to you immediately on your registered mobile number.
