Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Egypt joins the list of institutions participating in the United Nations Program to Promote the Principles of Women Empowerment, a set of principles developed by the UN Global Compact and UN Women, which provides guidance to institutions on how to promote gender equality and empower women in the workplace, the labor market and society as a whole.
By joining this initiative, the Bank aims to achieve human rights principles in a comprehensive and fair manner, gender equality in the work environment, in addition to improving institutional performance, as joining the principles of women’s empowerment will enhance the Bank’s commitment towards taking future actions that contribute to creating real value through the extensive experience of UN Women around the world and best practices in this regard.
It is worth noting that Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is moving steadily towards achieving the group’s sustainability strategy, which focuses mainly on 4 main elements (climate, governance, customers and society, employees) by focusing on developing a more sustainable business environment in a way that achieves the greatest possible benefits to customers, shareholders, employees and society as a whole.
