ADCB Egypt has announced that it has received the latest version of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) certification. This certification reflects the bank's unwavering commitment to implementing the highest security standards for its customers' payment card data. PCI-DSS is a globally recognized standard designed to ensure a secure environment for entities processing, storing, or transmitting credit card information, mitigating data breach risks, and protecting the bank and its customers. By obtaining this certification, ADCB Egypt has added robust security measures to safeguard cardholder data, enhancing its commitment to providing an exceptional banking experience and boosting customer trust and satisfaction.

 

Ihab ElSewerky , Managing Director and CEO of ADCB Egypt, expressed his delight at receiving the PCI-DSS V4 certification, “It is a new step in implementing the bank’s strategy and expansion plans, which prioritize digitalization in the presence of security measures to offer a distinguished banking experience to customers .We have adhered to this proactive plan to ensure continuous compliance with the highest security standards and the ongoing development of the bank's security measures through regular assessments and updates," he said.

 

ADCB Egypt collaborated with Versos, a leading cybersecurity consultancy, which provided assistance and support in obtaining the certification. Versos conducted a comprehensive assessment of the bank’s systems and applied best-in-class security practices to meet the stringent PCI-DSS requirements.

 

It is worth mentioning that ADCB Egypt has recently collaborated with several prestigious institutions to adopt innovative solutions to secure its customers' transactions and combat fraud, in line with the bank's vision to provide a distinguished banking experience and be the most preferred bank for its customers.
