Erada Package for PwD

“Empowerment via inclusion”

ADCB Egypt launched the “Erada” package in 2021, and it has since become the award-winning primary package designed to support PwD. The package offers banking and non-banking features and supports the initiatives set by the CBE and the nation to integrate PwD’s into society with ease. In 2022, the Bank launched a specially designed personal loan within the “Erada” package for PWD, offering an interest rate 3% lower than the advertised rate, with repayment periods from 6 months up to 8 years. The loan amount can be up to 1 mn EGP. The loan is provided to employees ages 21 years to 60 years (at loan maturity). For easy access, PwD are offered the possibility to open an account through the Bank’s mobile application.

Erada is an award-winning programme by ADCB Egypt that has yielded excellent results and continues to grow in popularity. Exemplifying that the Bank’s pro-active needs identification yielded positive social and financial benefits for all stakeholders

This comprehensive package provides many banking facilities and services to help PwD in their daily lives. The package is exempted from account opening fees and minimum required balance. The Banking benefits also include the issuance of a “Meeza” prepaid card, and registration for all digital banking services to access accounts, transfer and pay from anywhere and at any time and both services are offered without any administrative fees.

  • Non-banking benefits are also offered and they include the issuance of medical discount cards with a wide coverage network around the country, discounts on         various medical services and assistance tools for PWD without any extra fees to claim the discounts. PWDs receive a priority treatment in ADCB Egypt branches through dedicated and trained relationship officers and special ATMs.

    • Collaboration with Alorman in Seed fund project: in 2024, ADCB-Egypt signed a collaboration protocol with Alorman providing micro projects assets and equipment for PWDs applying seed fund model. The program finance is split to 50% non-refunded by the client and 50% of the project is refunded through installments to be re-injected in the program and finance other PWD and encourage clients to run their businesses and have an economic impact.
