Climatech accelerator Program 2024

In continuation of the Bank’s initiative in 2023 supporting entrepreneurship – as the climate accelerator is conducted for the 3rd year in row but with different partner – ADCB Egypt sponsored “ClimaTech Accelerator 2024 and 2025”, the first dedicated accelerator for climate technology, by Nilepreneur which is Nile University’s leading innovation and entrepreneurship center, an initiative from the Central Bank of Egypt. The program aims to accelerate new innovative ClimaTech focused solutions over an acceleration cycle of 4 months. Accelerated startups receive mentorship, business development support, and access to industry experts, to help them refine their business models. The startups are provided with networking opportunities to scale their solutions, become ready for investment, and drive impact in the clean energy sector.

    1. Raising awareness about climate change, clean technologies and promoting local ClimaTech solutions.
    2. Building the capabilities of companies to improve their market access, access to finance, and innovation capacity with the ultimate goal of growing their business.
This accelerator offers a 4-6 month training and development program for Clima-tech startups through subject matter experts and mentors as well access to a large network of business and industry leaders. In 2024, 10 startups benefited from the accelerator program, knowing that one of the startups has passed the Shark Tank program. In 2025, ADCB Egypt renewed its commitment to support entrepreneurship bringing innovative technological solutions for the environment.
