Ride to COP
Under the patronage of the Ministries of Planning, Youth, Environment and Military Production and in partnership with the UNDP and the USAID, ADCB Egypt sponsored “The Ride to COP27” – that has become the world’s longest trip on an electric motorcycle. Aiming to create awareness and engage with youth in an innovative way, the ride by the Guinness World Record Holder Ali Abdo has gone through all Egypt. The last stop has been in Sharm El Sheikh with the inauguration of the COP 27 hosted by Egypt.
The ride is under the initiative of اتحضر للاخضر by the Ministry of Environment. The Ride to COP27 has achieved two Guinness World Records as:
- The longest journey by electronic motorcycle in the world
- The longest journey by electronic motorcycle in a single country
