CSR Strategic Approach

Aligned with Egypt Vision 2030, ADCB’s CSR Strategic Framework (2022), and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ADCB Egypt implements an integrated CSR strategy focused on achieving measurable, long-term impact.
Centered on “Inclusion Through Empowerment” the strategy prioritizes the integration and empowerment of people with disabilities, while supporting underserved communities through inclusive financial services and accessible work environments. ADCB Egypt has set a benchmark for disability inclusion within the Egyptian banking sector.
This approach has earned the bank regional recognition and prestigious awards, reinforcing its position as a leader in responsible banking, ESG, and sustainable development in Egypt.

ADCB Egypt is committed to improving health and wellbeing by supporting essential medical services, raising health awareness, and promoting safe and healthy living across underserved communities in Egypt.
As a core pillar of ADCB Egypt’s CSR and sustainable development strategy, Health & Better Life focuses on enhancing quality of life through improved access to critical healthcare services and impactful community initiatives. This pillar reinforces the belief that access to healthcare and a better quality of life are fundamental rights for all.

Key Initiatives
In 2025, ADCB Egypt signed a three-year support protocol with Nile of Hope Hospital, building on a long-term partnership that began in 2022. Located in Alexandria, the hospital is the only specialized medical facility in Egypt and the Middle East dedicated to treating congenital defects in newborns.
In 2025, ADCB Egypt supported 750 students in Atfih, Giza, by providing school supplies and hygiene kits. Implemented in partnership with Ommar El Ard Foundation and Mervat Sultan Foundation, the initiative helps families prepare for the academic year while improving school attendance and student wellbeing.
Education & Training for Employment
ADCB Egypt empowers youth and women through practical education and hands-on training programs that enhance employability, support decent job opportunities, and encourage entrepreneurship.
In partnership with El Sewedy Technical Academy, Misr AlKheir, RoboGarden, and Al Galala University, the bank delivers market-driven training initiatives aligned with the needs of the Egyptian labor market.
Nearly 100 students and trainees have gained high-demand practical skills, enabling many to secure direct employment or launch successful small businesses.

Key Initiatives
In 2022, ADCB Egypt partnered with El Sewedy Technical Academy (STA) to launch a specialized technical education initiative aimed at preparing youth—particularly students with hearing disabilities—for effective integration into the Egyptian labor market. The program concluded with the graduation of its first cohorts in 2025.
The initiative delivers hands-on, market-oriented technical training, combining practical skills development with inclusive learning methodologies that ensure accessibility and equal opportunities. To enhance social integration, family members were actively engaged to support effective communication and act as a bridge between students and the wider community.
In 2025, building on the strong outcomes of the initial cohort—where graduates successfully secured employment opportunities after completion—the program was expanded to include two technical education classes, increasing outreach and impact. This initiative transforms technical education into a sustainable career pathway, reinforcing ADCB Egypt’s commitment to inclusive growth, employability, and long-term socio-economic impact in Egypt.
As part of ADCB’s commitment to empowering people with disabilities, a specialized training initiative was implemented for individuals with hearing impairments in the field of sewing and garment manufacturing. The program included providing the necessary tools and full support, starting from preparatory curricula, training on social integration, and hands-on practical training in a real work environment.
In addition, the bank, in collaboration with the implementing partner, conducted listening sessions and consultations with the Ministry of Technical Education and the Ministry of Industry to design the training in the best possible way, ensuring the safety of trainees and fully preparing them for the labor market. After completing the training, beneficiaries were employed in partner factories, enhancing their opportunities to earn a sustainable income and actively participate in the workforce.
Economic Empowerment
ADCB is committed to promoting economic empowerment for underserved communities by supporting financial independence and sustainable livelihoods. This is achieved through enabling individuals to launch and grow small businesses, enhancing entrepreneurial skills, and providing access to essential resources and market opportunities.
The Economic Empowerment pillar at ADCB focuses on individuals in underserved governorates through targeted training programs, entrepreneurship guidance, and improved market access, empowering beneficiaries to transform ideas into sustainable, income-generating businesses.

Key Initiatives
In 2025, ADCB implemented a specialized program to train 100 women, equipping them with skills in marketing, digital tools, product development, and business management.
The program enabled participants to enhance product quality, better understand market needs, and access real sales channels—allowing many to transform home-based activities into scalable small businesses.
As part of ADCB’s efforts to enhance financial independence for people with disabilities, a specialized initiative was implemented to support the financing of tricycles for mobility-impaired wheelchair users. These tricycles were fully customized to suit the beneficiaries’ specific conditions, providing a dignified source of income for them and their families. The initiative was carried out in partnership with the Ata’a Investment Fund, enabling beneficiaries to develop their own small businesses and achieve economic independence.
Green Communities
ADCB is committed to building stronger, more resilient communities by supporting environmental initiatives, promoting sustainability practices, and encouraging collaborative efforts that generate long-term positive impact.
The Sustainable Communities pillar focuses on advancing solutions that enhance the quality of life in underserved communities, raising environmental awareness, and providing the tools and practices needed to foster long-term sustainable development.

Key Initiatives
Through impactful initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint and enhancing environmental infrastructure, ADCB reached a total of 2,500 direct beneficiaries, translating to approximately 12,500 people gaining access to clean and safe water.
In partnership with Schneider Electric and following the success of 2024 project which established one water desalination unit, ADCB expanded its clean water initiative in 2025 by establishing two additional desalination units. These units provide integrated solutions, devices, and operating systems to the villages of Abees in Beheira Governorate, ensuring sustainable access to safe water for the community.
