Nile of Hope Hospital

In 2025, ADCB Egypt signed a three-year support protocol with Nile of Hope Hospital, building on a long-term partnership that began in 2022. Located in Alexandria, the hospital is the only specialized medical facility in Egypt and the Middle East dedicated to treating congenital defects in newborns.

In 2022, ADCB Egypt partnered with El Sewedy Technical Academy (STA) to launch a specialized technical education initiative aimed at preparing youth—particularly students with hearing disabilities—for effective integration into the Egyptian labor market. The program concluded with the graduation of its first cohorts in 2025.

The initiative delivers hands-on, market-oriented technical training, combining practical skills development with inclusive learning methodologies that ensure accessibility and equal opportunities. To enhance social integration, family members were actively engaged to support effective communication and act as a bridge between students and the wider community.

In 2025, building on the strong outcomes of the initial cohort—where graduates successfully secured employment opportunities after completion—the program was expanded to include two technical education classes, increasing outreach and impact. Training Initiative for People with Hearing Disabilities in Garment Manufacturing in Partnership with El Sewedy Technical Academy

As part of ADCB’s commitment to empowering people with disabilities, a specialized training initiative was implemented for individuals with hearing impairments in the field of sewing and garment manufacturing. The program included providing the necessary tools and full support, starting from preparatory curricula, training on social integration, and hands-on practical training in a real work environment.

In addition, the bank, in collaboration with the implementing partner, conducted listening sessions and consultations with the Ministry of Technical Education and the Ministry of Industry to design the training in the best possible way, ensuring the safety of trainees and fully preparing them for the labor market. After completing the training, beneficiaries were employed in partner factories, enhancing their opportunities to earn a sustainable income and actively participate in the workforce.

In partnership with Schneider Electric and following the success of 2024 project which established one water desalination unit, ADCB expanded its clean water initiative in 2025 by establishing two additional desalination units. These units provide integrated solutions, devices, and operating systems to the villages of Abees in Beheira Governorate, ensuring sustainable access to safe water for the community.
